Enclume Design Products, Inc. was founded in 1973 as a metal crafting company, specializing in cookware racks of the highest quality. Our workers then carefully pack and ship our products to ensure customers receive a rack of unparalleled quality.

The strength of Enclume products begins with the materials we use, such as high-carbon steel, type 304 stainless steel, heavy-gauge grid work, and hand-selected eastern maple. Our racks are made of 3/16” - 1/2” steel, up to twice that of our competitors. Our plated racks are electroplated and then hand-polished to a mirror finish.

Manufacturing

The company manufactures its products at its headquarters in Port Hadlock, Washington. Enclume is known nationwide for leadership in quality, based on our skilled craftsmen, traditional French metal-forming equipment, and the materials used (high-carbon steel, heavy-gauge grid work, hand selected eastern maple wood).

We quality inspect after every step of the manufacturing process. We hand wrap each piece to ensure you receive our product in pristine condition. You can’t buy a better crafted cookware rack at any price.

Enclume's signature finish is Hammered Steel, with a rich distressed patina. Other finishes include Chrome, Brass, and Copper plated as well as Stainless Steel in selected models.
