Now you can have the ultimate in kitchen furniture. Our durable, yet mobile, kitchen island is topped with a 1" thick slab of solid, natural granite. Granite is one of the most desired surfaces for kitchen counters. It is beautiful, durable and very low maintenance.

Granite is a tough, durable stone - only diamonds are stronger. It resists heat and stains. The lovely hardwood drawers and storage shelves are furniture quality and made from Nyatoh, sometimes known as "Asian Cherry," from Malaysia. The metal legs are powder-coated steel. Heavy-duty casters glide easily and locking brakes make sure the island stays put.

Granite is perfect for working with pastry because it keeps the dough cold, but it's not recommended for use as a cutting board. Doing so will dull your knives. To help protect your knives, we will include a FREE durable chopping block with every Rogar Mobile Kitchen Island. To help preserve the beauty of the granite, we will also include a FREE 8oz. bottle of granite cleaner and polish. The cleaner and polish included will make the minimal maintenance a snap.

It consists of many squares of crosswise-cut pieces glued together to create a thick stable surface that won't warp. Raised rubber feet keep board from sliding. Insets on four sides make board easy to lift and carry.
